- Background & Plans
- I bought this car in the summer of 2016 with only 2500 miles on it. Still had the factory torque markings and parts tags on all of the suspension, and I dont think it had ever seen rain. Supposedly the previous owner had traded it in on a GT350, and had numerous other mustangs. I fell in love with it after I test drove it, and brought it home. I wrote into the contract that the dealership owed me the original Boss owners materials for the car, and to my surprise they contacted the previous owner and got me the original packet about a month later. After I bought it I went ahead and had a clear bra applied to the front end of the car, since the paint was still so nice and I knew I would be putting some miles on it. It is nice to be able to drive it and not worry about the paint! After that I did the exhaust setup with the tune, and the shifter and the clutch line the following year. I drove it that way for a few years, and then did all of the suspension work this past winter. Future plans include taking it to the track for the first time to experience it in the environment it was meant for!
