Well, personally, between my wife and I, we made about $300k last year and I don't miss a few bucks between the Barton/FR Racing shifter. My money. My choice.
I had the Stop-Tech slotted rotors and Hawk HPS Street Pads installed. I have to say the combination is not as good as the stock setup. (Yes, i followed the break-in procedure for the pads) I know the HPS Street Pads say the stopping power is good hot or cold, but they are better warm. Stock...
Well, I received my new shift boot and installed it. Getting the old one out was a royal PITA. There was a slight increase in NVH, but not much. It definitely feels like a racing part. Overall I'm really happy with it.
I installed the Ford Racing Short Throw myself. It wasn't too bad. The modular shifter bracket was absolutely brilliant.A few notes:1)The higher you can get your vehicle, the better off you will be. A lift would be best.2)The old bracket is a helluva lot harder to get off than the new...
Hmmm...I didn't read that prior to buying new rotors, but reading that article, it sounds like there has never been a warped rotor in the history of the automobile.... I remain skeptical.I plan on keeping my stock rotors and having them turned...I'll see what happens with it.
Like I said...It's my daily driver...without it, I'm forced to ride in my wife's '13 Camaro SS...boo!I didn't really have a lot of time to shop around or I would have asked here first...Thanks anyway.
SO...unlike many of you, my Boss is my daily driver. I have 27k miles on it now and the front brakes were starting to squeak noticeably. I bought Hawk HPS pads, and, unfortunately, both rotors were warped. I bought the StopTech Power Slot Alloy Rotors: Manufacturer Part #: 126.61089SL/R from...
Just had my TracKey tune programmed today. The first thing I noticed was the increased low-range torque. Impressive. The shifter seemed smother, probably a benefit of disabling the skip shift. Idle lope was really cool. The transmission braking did NOT make it "un-streetable" as I was expecting...
Yes, I AM referring to 305/30/19's. Do you know for a fact the wider tire will rub somewhere or are you saying the 305's are too wide for the 9.5" rim?
So, Tremec offers their magnum gearbox for the GT and Boss now, but I'm surprised at te gearing. The Boss 302's T82 is part of the reason it accelerates so well. I've read tons of complaints about the "Chinese" Getrag T82, but none of the complaints have been over the transmission gearing. The...
