  1. 2012 Boss needs new cats

Thanks guys! TA28 has a pair of low mile takeoffs. I'll get those on the way.
  2. 2012 Boss needs new cats

I have a 12 Boss that has a plugged cat according to the dealership. Looking for suggestions on replacements. Drive train is all stock except I added the track key. Car is street driven only. OEM is $1200 installed. I'm assuming there are aftermarket cats that are equal or better in quality...
  3. The Ford That Beat Ferrari

blacksheep, i was born in 66 so only have second-hand knowledge of this history. I'm a little envious that you've been able to get your hands dirty on some of the cars you listed. I thought the 289 Daytonas were able to turn in faster lap times than the gt40s due to better handling and...
  4. The Ford That Beat Ferrari

What I thought was interesting about the Ford v Ferrari movie is that there was no mention on the Cobra Daytona... which was faster than both the GT40 and the FerrariSent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  5. The 1989 Ford Taurus SHO

I had an 89... the ultimate stop light brawler... mostly because nobody expected to get spanked by a four door sedan... with three car seats.DaveSent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

  7. Boss 302 Street Tire selection for stock suspension

I am reluctantly starting a new thread on tire selection for my 12 Boss 302 I've read through so many pages of tire info that my brain is swimming... The factory rubber is nearing the end of it's useful life. Car is street driven only. I'd love to track it, but in 3 years of ownership, I haven't...
  8. Boss 302 Track Key Available Again

TracKey install complete, but the weather has been crappy so I haven't had much opportunity to "test." I've put maybe 75 miles on the car... So far, I don't really notice much difference in terms of overall driveability.- daveSent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

  10. Boss 302 Track Key Available Again

Thanks for your replies. I really appreciate it. Funny, 30 years ago, these decisions were easy - max performance. Now I weigh the pros and cons... sheesh... almost like a grown up.-daveSent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  11. Boss 302 Track Key Available Again

So the question is....to TracKey or not to TracKey??? The TracKey tune and ProCal Tuner is $575. I assume that other tunes can be loaded via the ProCal tuner as well. I can buy an SCT tuner preloaded with a couple of "performance" tunes for $399. That is full list price from their website. This...

  14. Boss 302 Track Key Available Again

So...my car does NOT have the TracKey. What I think is cool about the Track Key is that you can swap tunes simply by using a different key. My understanding is that there are way better tunes available. If I could swap between the stock tune and an AED tune or similar, simply by changing keys...
