GAR944 replied to the thread Minimum Oil Temperature?.
Time to throw the cat amongst the pigeons, why are we concerned about oil being up to temperature? Follow the train of thought and see if it makes any sense. We are concerned about the "Engine" being up to temperature before, i know you lot... (see full post)

Yeah, we had to re-do the wiring in my wife's car as well. Honestly, after so much time and money spent on this car to rebuild the engine and do things right, we should have just dumped the turbo 4 and put an LS in it and called it a day. It...

Everyone i have seen or put on has been rectangular, line up the lower edge at the desired height and trim back to the molding. I think its one of those things that making it too exact just complicates the installation as you have to get it in... (see full post)

Spent last SUnday at Grattan to finally do some laps with the car in 2020 ... Everything went well, the new setup worked wonders, new pads (Carbotech XP12) were great all day long, the tire held up pretty well given the outside temps and the...

Spotted this thread after replying to another similar. Might want to have a quick read of it, it is S550 related but may have some ideas as well as plenty of photos. Plenty of concerns about strength and safety and mounting arrangements... (see full post)

That was my suggestion earlier, ditch the bolted tag a wrap around the bar. Still need the 3 bar buckle to create a loop from the flat strap. Was concerned that it wasn't fitted off correctly and could still slide through the buckle under load. (see full post)

RSL29, the eternal pad, despite the price they are the "budget pad" Dam things last way longer then the discs. And the disc will not suffer any real wear, just excessive heat crackle damage from the high temps the brakes will get too..
