Interesting to see a few Mustang people on here also have 944s. This is my S2 down here in New Zealand.As a small aside as I am also from the upside down part of the globe but my 944 is left hand drive I alternate between normal right hand...

Spotted this thread after replying to another similar. Might want to have a quick read of it, it is S550 related but may have some ideas as well as plenty of photos. Plenty of concerns about strength and safety and mounting arrangements... (see full post)
That was my suggestion earlier, ditch the bolted tag a wrap around the bar. Still need the 3 bar buckle to create a loop from the flat strap. Was concerned that it wasn't fitted off correctly and could still slide through the buckle under load. (see full post)
RSL29, the eternal pad, despite the price they are the "budget pad" Dam things last way longer then the discs. And the disc will not suffer any real wear, just excessive heat crackle damage from the high temps the brakes will get too..
