Thanks for the birthday wishes. I'm thankful I can still do this. I'm glad I found this great group of people. The bonus of turning 70 is I don't have to chase cones anymore unless I want to. (see full post)

So the fuel pump/ sending units got here from Alpha Centauri, Delphi is the best I could do, so I installed them. When you are trying to hold the new pumps in and start the retaining ring, it is a PITA. So what I did was to polish/ bend the Tab...

What an engine, as a kid I remember building several models with this engine in it, lots of little pieces for that exhaust system. IIRC A.J. Foyt bought the Indy car engine rights from Ford. Wonder if AJ has a few of these laying around? I... (see full post)

I worked at the DOT in my state. In the 90's everything was pretty cool, people doing their jobs and management that knew the business. Then politics started to creep in, every new commissioner with their new agenda. Reshuffle the deck chairs... (see full post)

As a kid my grandfather used to take me along when he sat around with his cronies and had coffee some mornings. I was so pleased he wanted me to go along, but I did get a bit frightened because all they discuss was how the sky was falling. As a...

I owned a 78 Fairmont Futura, an 84 T-Bird and a 91 Probe, all decent cars but didn't seem to have quite the same power as Bob's cars. Thanks for the Memories, R.I.P. Bob (see full post)

I was going to try the Nankang's but apparently Nankang has a problem with customs, shipping containers are being sent back to the manufacturer. I choose to buy another set of Falken's. I am bumping up to 315/30-18s. Quote from Phil's Tires... (see full post)

Parts are still available, Whiteline has a warehouse in Cali, IIRC. They were very nice to deal with and got the part fast. (see full post)
