Everyone is saying that based on your comments and your "know-it-all" attitude, you come off as a pretentious a-hole. You ask for help but when others provide, you belittle them and say something along the lines suggesting you know more. You say you're concerned with safety but deflect safety advice and say you're really looking for this equipment to act as a harness bar when everyone and their mother knows harness bars are the opposite of safety.

This forum is one of the friendliest and most helpful forums I've ever come across, especially compared to some others but the folks here do not tolerate snarky attitudes - take that some place else.

Why are you even trying to read into what people "come off as" based on their comments? Just doesn't sound like a fun hobby to me, at least compared to racing haha. Everyone with a question has to be psycho-analyzed now? Who cares? Who even has time for all that? Lol

Strange, you failed to comment on the third paragraph from ewheel, see above.
Since you failed to take advice from professional builders, seasoned racers and other experienced track folks just trying to give you a hand. Please abide by the spirit of paragraph three.
Personally, I’ve only installed three very similar roll bars. Each was made easier by asking for help…….and then listening to advice received. “Have someone hold the plate in place while you bolt in from the top.” Simple.
