that’s about it. Not so concerned with peak grip as long as it is summer tire level. I know about the class favorites like PSS or PS4s. RS4 another choice if available. But what else is out there? Everyone usually has that tire recommendation that is cheap, sticky enough and surprising for what it is. What is yours?

For relatively cheap daily street /occasional track tire in the size you want, I'd be looking at the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 and the Conti Extreme Contact Sport 2.

I was at the Firestone shop getting tires for my truck. Asked for a price on GY SC3. Price was 1500 installed but there was no stock. Then the guy suggested the Indy 500 tires. He said real cheap, like 950 cheap. I started asking myself how bad they can be at that price.
