Is the 30/68-18 S9M comparable?

I ask because my car is still completely stock, and the stock Trofeo RS is 26.6" tall, whereas the 30/65-18 you posted above in post # 16 is only 25.5" tall, which is outside the 2-3% or so that many here recommend to keep the ECU from going haywire. The 68cm tire is within a tenth of an inch of the diameter of the stock Trofeo RS tire.

I do not know the effect of the taller sidewall due to the 18 inch wheel (so 1/2" taller sidewalls than stock), but there do not appear to be any good 19" options
I run the 30/68-18s, also run 315/30-18 Hoosiers and the computer doesn't go haywire. The cars don't like big spreads in stageer front to rear. wheelspeeds are revolution based so that is what can cause problems. Tires of the same sizes don't typically in my experience. Only caveat is if you have speed limiter, then the additional revolutions will fool the ECU into thinking it is exceeding speed limit.

Oh, I did not realize that your car would still have the ECU . . . I do not know much about the Ford Racing Dark Horse R cars other than what I have been reading here (and now seeing a few Youtube videos, but they are light on the technical end of things).

Thank you for the additional information.

Are these on 11" wheels?

The information is on my 2018 Mustang with OEM ABS. The DHR cars have Bosch standalone ABS Yes Apex 18x11" wheels

H2 Michelin is our current Mustang Challenge tire as well as the current Porsche Challenge Cup front tire.
There ya go, Steve was on point, they changed tires ( for the better, IMO) on the Mustang cup cars. I understand that they are 1 race tires, so not sure if much will be left of a used set.

The Michelin is a decent tire as a scrub. Will get you through a full track day if you get a set that was just race used. Problem is they are so expensive new that most teams run the previous race sets as practice tires for the next event or as test tires. Unless you know who you are getting them from I would be careful with used Mustang Challenge take offs. The S9M tire is the best take off slick currently for our cars.
