So, I'm considering putting camber plates on my GT350 this spring. This obviously involves uncoupling/recoupling the strut and the aluminum spindle. I'm really wondering how crazy it would be to try to do this with the brake caliper still mounted on the spindle. Reason is that I just put the Caliperflexion studs in last year, and the caliper mounting bolts going out and studs in was sketchy. The aluminum threads in the spindle...let's just say I don't want to tempt fate again.

Related question is if those two bolts that mount the spindle and the strut (and spline to the spindle) are directional, or could be flipped to get better tool access to the nut for the reinstall.

Any thoughts are appreciated. I'm sitting here recovering from surgery and trying to make a plan for when the car properly comes out of storage for the year. It's been enough months since I was in there messing with it, that I just can't remember.

If you have the caliper studs it is super easy to remove the caliper. Just remove the 2 nice aerospace nuts and leave the studs in place. You will want to slide the caliper all the way off and hang it out of the way.

You need the caliper off to get tool access to the knuckle bolts. They will need to be sledge hammered or air hammered out from the caliper side as they are knurled and a tight fit in the knuckles

Have a read through my old thread, part way down GTP shows how to push the bolts out without removing the caliper. Removing the splines means you can undo the bolts from the front side with an extension bar and just a spanner on the back behind the caliper in future.
