Installed my new replica LS splitter (thanks Tony), and support rods from Longacre Racing. Went with the SVE bracket which fit great.

Last month, McLeod RST, MGW X Spec, Ford racing Alu DS, Shelby clutch reservoir, McLeod braided line, and Motul fluids all around.

Need to slap pads on the front and I’m ready for a track day.

Only other mods thus far are -

T Springs (i believe, P/O installed)
Roush Axle Back
75% plates for sidepipes
Sound-tube delete
BMR PHB

I threw on some new Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02's for this year, stock sizes.

Next years plans:
Cortex coilovers, CC plates
If I don't tackle this year, pads
Wheels/tires (19x10 or 19x11 square)
V6 rear swaybar

Year after: boost?

It's never going to be tracked more than 1-3x a year, I don't anticipate. Looking for a fun reliable street/track car that does a little of everything. Figured I'd start with the drivetrain first and get that sorted, move to suspension and then finally power adder. Factor in a Tremec swap at some point if ever needed. Car just rolled over 23k and is a good 9-9.5/10.

No, but I’ve been considering a gloss black GT500 spoiler. I don’t think either are very functional but they’d balance out the look I think.

As I recall, Ford changed the rear spoiler on the LS to better match the aero of the added front splitter. Granted, if you aren't tracking it regularly and your changes are more for their cosmetic appeal (which I also like), the rear spoiler change isn't a big deal.

Very nice G2 Boss.

The "Laguna Seca" wing is the same one from the earlier-released California Special 402A (including other to-be Boss bits like the bottom front fascia and the rear 'diffuser-style' bumper treatment) and also available on GTs as part of Accessory Package 4, 5, and 6. It does have a functional foil in the middle (as I understand it, a function of the air joining from the cabin sides and the roof over the back glass creating a V shape towards the center of the trunk, and therefore, the foil element) and is kicked up on the trailing edge, though the total generated downforce between the front and rear elements aren't a staggering amount when compared to some modern-day OEM sports cars - see below.

From the Laguna Seca Press Release, August 13th 2010:
"At the back, a large rear spoiler is sized to exactly complement the effect provided by the front splitter and underbody aero treatments, with the combination adding as much as 90 pounds of downforce at 140 mph."

My Roush spoiler is HEA-VY! Love the way it looks and since it is now unobtainium I'm definitely keeping it. But if it broke I think I'd go for one of those lightweight wicker bill spoilers. I'd guess the GT500 spoiler is a lil on the heavy side as well? They're kinda similar. Just food for thought, if you're taking weight savings into mind. The GT500 spoiler is one of the better looking ones.

Installed my new SVE front row hook!

Install was much easier than I expected, this was the first time I’d had my front bumper off. Way easier than I anticipated, I’m used to Japanese cars where everything is held on with silly little clips! It was nice to have some screws. Hopefully the only use it will get is for easy loading into the trailer an not cause the car is broken!

To bring up a phrase that's used in many situations........."To have it and not need it is always better than needing it and not having it".......Amen............A bottle opener comes to mind for some strange reason............
Or a septum piercing.

Well... Not today...but...
Killed the original MT-82 @ COTA 2 weeks ago. And last weekend pulled that big awkward frozen b!7¢√ out. Note the weapon of choice to slay the beast is comprised of every extension I own (7) + that miserable swivel!

Anyways, haven't cracked it open yet to see what was the true cause of its final demise. But regardless I'll be going the Tremec route.

Was planning on starting a thread with all my questions, unless someone says, "Oh God, please for the love of all that is Holy... NOT ANOTHER Tremec swap thread!!"

Onward and Upward$!

*Oh. And the guy holding the weapon is the poor sucker I lured into helping me pull it. I ALMOST feel sorry for him. It shouldn't have been that hard. 😄

Installed the Maximum Motorsport K member with the Boss 302s delrin bushings in the original front control arms
I got Dean @ Kohr to remove the oem bushings and press in the delrin ones. Also installed the maximum Motorsport bump steer kit and bmr poly motor mounts.
Needs an alignment but a quick check with string to set the toe.
My car is a 2012 so I was concerned about the steering rack shudder but I’ve taken the car for a test drive and it seems to be ok so fingers crossed.
