Guys just little curious what you all think. I have a mostly stock 2014 GT and ordered the SVE 15 inch brake kit. Thinking I might had gone a little over board on that and maybe money could be spent in a better place ? A buddy on the site here kinda agreed. I can send them back and maybe exchange it for a a tire and wheel package that im going to need any way . Only plans are some steeda springs steeda shocks and steeda camber plates. I have a roush cat back as the only mod right now . Thinking about eventually lower control arms and panhard bar after a couple track events

Yes, IMO, the Brembo 14 inch Boss302 style are a relatively inexpensive race proven brake system. With regards to the suspension system, cutting the shock towers and camber plates are a must, Steeda is not my favorite, I'm more of a Ford Performance or Cortex guy, but Steeda in my case is local and I've run their stuff before, but I'd recommend staying with 1 brand all the way through, no matter who you choose.

I don’t think you’re going overboard to upgrade the base GT brakes on a 2014. But I agree with @blacksheep-1 that the ford brembo 4 piston 14” are a great middle ground upgrade. The 15” are heavier and there are lots of reports of a softer pedal on an s197. However, they are affordable, available , and clearly stop the car well. Unfortunately the old 14” boss setup is getting harder to find.

Well, I also agree with my fellow old fart, Mr. Blacksheep, and please never consider wasting your money on a Watts Link. Ask Blacksheep about that as I am sure he will back me on that waste of money. Steeda or Ford, great advice to stick with one brand throughout and you will find TMO is a wonderful source of common sense , real life advice, sometimes tinged with just a bit of humor ( or attempts thereof ).
