I have asked before with no good answer except one fellow manufactures an adjustable pushrod like the old Foxs had the acorn nut, he installs a turnbuckle to take up the freeplay, actually lengthening the push rod. I put on Baer 14" Eradispeeds today, better feel and shorter distances except the same 2 inches of freeplay before engagement. I want the pedal to feel the same as my 2018 PP1 GT. immediate!!

What year and base model is your S197?

2007 Shelby GT, came with the stock GT brakes. I have since put on 13" rotors rear with caliper relocation bracket and just now 14" Baer Eradispeed 2 piece plain rotors with caliper relocation bracket. After discussion with the mechanic doing the work, he has agreed that after doing another ABS reset, will explore putting a turnbuckle inline on the vacuum booster pushrod (measure the distance of the pushrod when brakes applied and compare to the depth of the master cyclinder bore hole) I have been chasing this solution with him for years and he didnt want to do it but now he agrees I should be able to immediately put his nose on the windshield same as my 18 GT PP1.

I have had the problem for years, way before any brake upgrade attempts. and yes I tried a PP1 set up, my wheels would not clear and I was unwilling to buy new wheels just for this, I already bought S550 19x9 wheels, they look good, inexpensive , hence the Eradispeeds. there is a roadracer on this forum who showed me a turnbuckled vacuum booster rod he made and it solved the long soft pedal problem, im just now taking his advice, hoping somebody on the forum had found a magic bullit.
