Getting down to the last bits for my Coyote swap into my 13' base and I'm elbow deep into the shifter. Looks like there's a difference between my 13' auto console and my 14' manual donor boot.
I have the 14' manual shifter boot, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to make it work with my auto console. I'm missing a plate of some sort. Looks like #3 in the pic....
I know the console tops are the same, and I have a manual "pleather" boot, but it just will not mate up. I have the plastic/chrome rectangular trim ring for the auto, but I'm guessing that's going away. Any ideas what #3 is and do I need it, which I think I do. Did the manuals have a chrome trim ring around the shifter opening on the console??
Help, I'm hoping to fire this rig next weekend, bleeding the clutch now.

You need the manual version of the chrome trim surround. Pictured below is the underside. It has additional tabs present that retain the boot.

Is it available by itself?
Every part breakdown I've seen is very vague or doesn't differentiate between manual and auto.

Not to my knowledge, but you can find used donors on eBay and in junkyards.

I'm not seeing anything specific to that part on eBay, but I see entire console covers that include the boot and all. I'm wondering if that's the direction I'll have to go.
I assumed the boot attached to a trim ring that snapped into the console top like my auto console does. I got a boot with my shifter assembly on my pallet, but just the boot. The trim appears to be part of the console.
Damn this project is nickel, dime and hundred dollar billing' me to death......

Yes, most eBay salvage yards will sell the console top panel as a unit.

The listing has been running for 3 months and has a damaged boot (which you already have a replacement for), which can be used as points for reasonable haggling.
Or if you have a junkyard near you with an MT 2011-2014 in it you can go salvage the part yourself and potentially save some money.
