Not going to lie, but track rats are probably among the most diverse audiences I can think of, from the import crew, Miata gang, rich dentists, and even us faithful horsey homies, so, I'm just curious, but where my professional nerds at? Software? Hardware? Infra/Ops? QA?Architecture? Industry?

I'm one of those data guys, who build stuff to stalk the hell out of you, for AI to pretty much consume everything you do. Stop posting all your dumb sh*t to the Internet, or if you do, at least make it f***ing epic.

I'm primarily a SQL Server DBA these days but still do s/w architecture & full stack .Net web development work as well as occasional troubleshooting like packet sniffing for SSL/TLS cipher mismatches. Been in the government / education sector for the past 20+ years.

Was a MS Certified Trainer in the 90's until the dot-com bubble burst and corporate training money dried up. Taught classes starting with VB4 and VBA, Windows Server from NT 3.5, and SQL Server from 6.5. Was also certified in VC++ w/ ATL & MFC and Exchange, plus MS Solutions Framework. Dabbled in Perl before PowerShell. MCT, MCP+I, MCSD, MCSE, MCDBA.

Back in the 80's I was doing production scheduling and inventory control for a small chemical manufacturer. Installed their first network (Novell Netware 2 over ThinNet coax, Shiva networked modems for regional sales staff) and multi-user accounting software (DOS-based Great Plains - now MS Dynamics GP). Still remember flipping through 20+ floppies for each Great Plains version update. Used to build my own PCs, but now usually buy Dell off-lease stuff.

Fortunately, I don't do desktop support any more.

This is literally the ring tone on my phone. I don't do desktop support anymore either, unless its my own.

Speaking of Data and AI, my prior lives in video/fleet telematics and a large customer data SaaS had me thinking about how I could build a coaching/data platform for track people, and with that data, show what/where is really costing you time. I've shown off early development teasers to a few, and done most of the LLC/GDPR/CCPA/DPA and legal review stuffs, so it's not entirely me farting around, but I've just been a little sidetracked with life at the moment. Heck, I haven't even been able to shakedown the FAFOX and even if I did, a carb'd 87GT doesn't provide much to work with, so I'll have to figure out a capable platform for it in the off-season before I can really start eating my dogfood and chugging my champagne, but up for the challenge, because it's also significantly harder when you don't control the device/hardware, which means plenty of fun issues to stumble over data wrangling.

With that, I'm looking for a handful of people running Mustangs on track - HPDE, TT, W2W, (drifting?) who'd be into being early data partners. You send me some session data, I turn it into real analysis for you, and it helps me stress-test this against real hardware and real driving instead of just my own car. No cost, no catch - right now I want honest feedback and messy real-world data and tracks more than I want customers.
