Hello. What are folks out there using for a replacement clutch? Mcleod? Exedy? Other? Looking for a twin disc. Car will be tracked 5+ days a year, and it is not a daily. Motor being rebuilt to make hopefully 350 reliable rwhp. Its a 4.6. Thanks for thoughts.

I did similar but went with the smaller Ram concept 9.5 and Ram AL flywheel. Agree, great looking quality clutch. Liking this setup a lot except 1500 rpm resonance with the flywheel.

I had the LW steel on the 4.6 and went with the Aluminum with the Coyote swap, I haven’t driven it much but it is actually quieter with aluminum than the steel for me, no odd resonance that I have heard

The only resonance I get from the AL flywheel is with the car in gear, on throttle, at 1500 rpm, worst in 4th and 5th gear, if I’m kind of lugging the engine. I just drive around it.

Small detail, this clutch didn’t work well with the stock clutch pedal helper spring in my 2011. I had to remove that, very easy to do.

I agree, this setup is surprisingly quiet everywhere else. The clutch itself is remarkably quiet. Just trying to give a full objective report. Overall I’m very pleased with this setup. So far I love the combination of great high rpm shifting with good feel and a light clutch pedal.

I did read about your helper spring issue, I have had no problems with mine.

I had a very similar noise with the 4.6, only in 4th about 40 mph, but with the coyote it’s quite, very interesting.
