Stumbled across this. Says in family since new, sitting since '84. $26K

Interesting if legit.

The two spoke steering wheel is the the standard wheel on these cars... the three spoke rim blow wheel came with the deluxe interior package (basically a Mach1 interior). The rest of the dash looks like a standard '70 B2 dash...no fake wood, no clock on the passenger side, no console, standard vinyl high back seats, except this one does appear to have the optional tach (amazingly, Boss 302s did not come with a tach as standard equipment).

The two telltales you'd want to know to verify it is a real '70 Boss 302... the VIN should start with either 0F02G or 0T02G... the 'G' being the Boss 302 engine code. Also, it should have staggered rear shocks.

It has the shock tower braces. Left side was repaired in the rear as the black out is incorrect compared to the right. Also has correct black out trim on the rear window so this looks like a Boss car from the photos. Definitely need to check the VIN.

As far a what was optional on the 1969 and 1970 Boss 302, take a look at the Donald Far book in our Owners Kit. On the last couple of pages, you will find the Options List for both model year Boss 302.

If you ordered the factory tachometer, the ammeter and oil pressure gauges were changed out to idiot lights.

It a fun read.
