Hello Like to know if the rims are still available and how for shipping to Florida? zip 33126
Thank you ]
Martin
I’ve never shopped wheels before but from what I hear plan about $50 each. I could try to put them on pallet or something too.

Shipping tires and rims is fairly easy, just put a circular cut piece of cardboard on each side of the tire/rim and then tape the holy crap out of it. It probably would be a bit cheaper than what you estimated , but it is very common for UPS/FedEx, etc. to send tires/rims across the Country.

Good luck and fair price.

Morning,
Thank you for replaying back quickly.
please let me know if you can and how much, I would also need it in Miami no later than Thursday June 25th Will pay for faster shipping or you can use my Fed Ex #, or, UPS, just need to find that number if you can packaged them, have race next weekend. If not no worries would still be intersted in them.

Thank you

Martin

Bill, thanks for the help, also nice race car, I am sharing this new venture with a friend who has a 2012 S197 Ford Mustang, Multimatic. looking to make some improvements and go racing, Already did a SCCA race, not competitive, but will get there, next is FARA race at Homestead than two more SCCA races here in Central Florida. Hopefully we can get it into HSR race for Daytona in Nov, not sure if they will allow it. Martin

Well, glad to help out a fellow Floridian ( well , at least I was born there ,ha ) and I have some customers in Sanford I sold Vipers years back. I run in SCCA and NASA and I would suggest you and your friends also view NASA , since it is a bit easier with the Mustang to meet some of the class requirements. I have to run my car in GT2 and I have no chance of being competitive because I simply weigh tooooooooo much!!

Still run with SCCA as good to get seat time, and since I joined clear back in 1981 , I know alot of the fellow track rats. Heck, I even was a pushy guy who helped a few others start the Salina Region of SCCA , so I have some love there. Run in ST2 in NASA ,like some others on this site, and it is just an easier option since one doesn't need to shed as much fat off the Stang.

Good luck with the sale and depending on what class you are running keep in mind the 18x10s could be a good size for a set of rain tires.

Thank you for the quick response, you are a wealth of knowledge. I will see if my race partner also wants to venture into NASA, never been, heard god things. I am just trying to get more track time as I will also be driving at Daytona HSR 24hr, fingers crossed, a Callaway GT3 corvette and Maserati GT4, if all goes well. This Ford Mustang still needs some sorting out and me to get used to the driving characteristics, so in many ways it is starting all over, excited, I am not sure of all the modifications that have been done, will share as I learn more. We just order a rear tail and want the rims for drys, I was also looking at the APEX wheels as they seem to be affordable and have seen a few cars out there with them on. so I might need to order 2 sets( if they can deliver to Miami by this Thursday) and use those as well. I was told to go with 18x11, but for now 18x10 will do unless you truly recommend that extra inch and it fits.
I will await the responce of the gentlemen with the BBS as well. Ok have a great day Martin

Martin, you definitely should go with the 18x11s unless the Class you guys are deciding to run limits width? The reason I brought up NASA was just because it seems to fit a bit better for the S197/Boss 302. But if you guys decide to work towards an AI car ( NASA ) or American Sedan ( SCCA ) , you will need narrow tires/rims, so that would not be beneficial advice. Sounds like fun times in the cars you will be running in soon, and check your PM ( conversation is how TMO lists that ).
