Want to bring this thread back. I'm suddenly in the market for a helmet. I live in Massachusetts. Great place to love for work, history, weather. Terrible place for tracks. I seriously envy you guys living a few miles from LS, thunder hill and all. We have an auto cross place near me that's just found. I prefer not to borrow their track helmet.

Please give me some pointers on how to fit, best performance vs cost.

I too am from MA and share your pain.
Like you said, Lots of good reasons to live in MA....but Not having any tracks is reason enough to leave!

Just in case my fellow Massholes don't know, Thompson Speedway has been repaved and is open for clubs to come in. I am in COMSCC right now. They will be having a track day July 27-28 http://www.comscc.org/events/. And CARTCT autoX at Thompson, also. It would be great to drive there with company!
