Coming from an NB2 Miata, the Mustang was a whole different ball game for me. It felt huge and wallowed like a boat to me. But then at 6ft and looong legs, I did not fit in the Miata. So I wanted something more comfortable, a V8, and a RWD platform. While I was eyeing at C5s, I felt the Mustang made more practical sense to me for initial cost. I started researching and then hunting for 05-09s. Mainly because the s197 seems to be a significantly superior chassis over sn95, but I could buy a C5 if I were to jump to a coyote. So I purchased this clean 2 owner 07 GT/CS with about 156,000 on the clock on Mar 2022

Since then, a lot of maintenance has been done to the car , including a new clutch and flywheel. And lot of upgrades as well. Every suspension bushing in the car is new. Attended my first track in the Stang earlier this month. The car has transformed a lot from when I brought her home. It handles much better, stays planted, very little nose dive, etc., Now for more seat time and learning my limits as well as the car's even though the latter is much farther.

Wanted to share a few updates since it has been close to a year. I am happy with the car where it is now, so just continuing some maintenance items. Installed 2 Amazon catch cans for driver and passenger $35 each. Had my car friend make a bracket and it fits under the just fine. I also blew the rear axle seal and bearing on the passenger side during a track day few months ago. Fixed them last month and took it to TNiA at Thunderhill raceway, and set a new PB. Some pics attached

next set of items planned along with some seat time.
1) Steeda extended heel toe pedal
2) Shifter arm bushings bronze, and shifter bushings
3) 3 row aluminum radiator and water pump
4) Sway bars
