HEY EVERYBODY..........It's MY BIRTHDAY ....THE BIG 70!!!!!!......Bill P usually sounds an alert , but He's getting up in yrs now and I'm sure it slipped his mind......I hate tootin my own horn!!!!! But 70 don't come that often for a lot of folks and I MADE that threshold to enjoy my "Golden Years"........GLORY HALLEJAH!!!!!!!!.....No big plans........Son said We will go to enjoy a pizza or two at Brewport later........Acey Boy coming ,also!!!!!!!!!!..........This is something I'm looking forward to. FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....sue me.... Good Times!!!!

Great Birthday Yesterday!!!!! We didn't make it to Brewport last night, but Son says He's bringing a Birthday Pizza by today........"A day late and a dollar short" doesn't apply here!!!!........I made it to 70!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...............I can't believe I'm saying that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..............Watch out Golden Yrs....The Boss wants to do a couple more laps!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, The 70th birthday weekend is winding down now. Son got me a pizza from Parlor Pizza in Stratford ( next town over) which I enjoyed very much ,Thank You!, Son!!.....Now I just look forward to what life has to throw my way in the future ( don't we all?) My future isn't endless like I thought it was as a kid ( no thoughts of even getting old back then) Time marches on and it DON'T take any prisoners......You are dealt the cards you have and your maker is the dealer...........................................

First week of 70-ville........so far so good!!!.....Hon says that now that I'm 70, She's thinking about trading me in for newer "model"........I reminded Her She's right behind me, so that thought may be crossing my mind also...............I know she was just kidding.....The longer you are with somebody, the stronger that bond becomes..........The Boss just says...............Save a little wiggle room for ME......................So be it........................OMG!!!!!......This thought just hit me like a bolt of lightning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........When you take care of business, business has a way of taking care of you!!!!!!!!!!!!...............Mind Your store and your sales will soar..............deep......................

Anybody hear about the penny shortage that some places are starting to experience? Our Country stopped minting pennies earlier this year because it cost more to make them than they were worth .........A penny saved is a penny earned and thrown in a piggy bank somewhere may be ending.............Here's a fuller explanation... " Most pennies produced by the U.S. Mint are given out as change but never spent; this creates an incessant demand for new pennies to replace them, so that cash transactions that necessitate pennies (i.e., any concluding with a sum whose final digit is 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 or 9) can be settled. Because these replacement pennies will themselves not be spent, they will need to be replaced with new pennies that will also not be spent, and so will have to be replaced with new pennies that will not be spent, which will have to be replaced by new pennies (that will not be spent, and so will have to be replaced). In other words, we keep minting pennies because no one uses the pennies we mint."...................The days of prices ending in ".99" may be coming to an end?..............I have to confess............I have a penny stash in a jar somewhere.............don't we all!!!!!!!!!!!

The driveway is full of leaves again. This wouldn't be a concern for anybody else, but my driveway slopes down to the house and when the rains come the drain gets clogged with leaves, causing the garage to get flooded................Me and The Boss don't like that to happen for obvious reasons...............I bought a leaf blower, But I can't use now because of mobility issues.........................Why Am I bothering you all with this.............Damn those leaves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....Paddy pix. sorry I crossed your path.............
