I miss you guys. Been following along with my favorite threads. Mostly healed up, and I've turned my focus from my green Stang to fairways and greens. Played 9 after work today and birdied 4 holes. After the round, my drinks were free and the tacos were tasty.
Somebody say Tacos?

My car is on the TMO calendar every day during the month of September, and I had to make a move to restore my sanity. Unfortunately, not a Mustang. Fortunately, a 4WD German version of a GT350. Please welcome a 2014 Audi RS5 into the stable. Is it still a stable without a Mustang present? Oh well, with a few small tweaks, the Audi will fill the void.20240720_154651.jpg

I'm not signing off, though. Too many great guys on here to walk away.

They still had the V8 in that year didn’t they? I drive one and was happy with it. Not a bad daily driver. Hopefully you don’t deal with any gremlins. Our 2001 A6 2.7t was one of my favorite cars.

Yup. 4.2L is the first 8 cylinders of the V10 from the R8 w/ 450 NA horses and an 8250 rpm redline. 8P carbon ceramic brakes. Audi's most advanced Quatro system. 7 speed DCT. It's not as fast as Fiona, but the feel is amazingly similar. Driving dynamics are similar.

I'm planning to autoX it on 9/28 as a "get to know you" session. Don't plan to track it, though. No way I could afford the wear and tear. The Mustang is the king of reasonable consumables. I know the Miata is cheaper, but it's the queen since Miatas can't really be the king of anything cool.

It is good to hear that you are dipping your toes back in to the car world. Let us know how the Auto X goes. You will be missed at CMP in October.
