Never had a fluid problem....I've killed many sets of pads and rotors over the last few years but never overheated the fluid.

Here's a great tip:
When you buy new rotors have them cyro treated.
I used to get 2 races out of a $1300.00 set of rotors. Now I get a full season.
Costs 125.00 to have them treated.
Money in the bank.

Once I switched to Castrol SRF never had a brake fluid failure again.... But ATE left me traumatized!! Its wet boiling point is low, its about 130 deg less then a a Wet SRF. It gave me by far the scariest experience I have had at the track. Brake pedal to the floor entering a 90 deg curve at 160mph, it took me about a year to brake late again.

If you use ATE make sure its fresh out of the can and you change it after every track day.

Do you get them cryo'd from your vendor or do you get that done yourself? I tried googling it but haven't found where one would get rotors processed.

There is a heat treating place in nearby Hayward that offers cryogenic services. Costs about 125.00/pair.
you want a brake fluid that has at least a 600 degree dry boiling point. Bleed it before every event.

Best info listed is to " Bleed " the brake lines before every event! I have recommended this for years to friends starting racing, Time Trials or HPDEs because years ago the Pro Racers and Factory Engineers told me, the autocrosser flipping over to Time Trials, to do this religiously. Nice to hear it from our NASA National Champ, Fabian, and one of the things that is relatively inexpensive, yet so important ----- the pony can gallop , but she has to whoa when you need her too!

What sold me on bleeding brakes between events was the color of the fluid in the caliper. The first few pumps of the pedal brought out a darker fluid. I assume this is burned fluid. I bleed the caliper until the fluid runs clear again. Usually 2-4 iterations.
