2013 V6 to Coyote swap question
What does everyone do with the differences between the V6 return style system vs. the Coyote returnless system.
Namely, what should I do with the extra line that terminates behind the drivers side strut tower next to the fuel pressure line?
Just plug it off? Do I need a special cap similar to the connector I removed when I disconnected the V6 fuel lines? Will a vacuum cap and clamp do the job?
Anyone else run into this?
Thank you

I guess, yes. It's terminated right next to the hard, stainless fuel line. I had to disconnect each of them to remove the V6. They are literally an inch from one another.
I just assumed it was a return line. The 14' Coyote I'm installing only has one line.

Yes, the EVAP hardline is bundled with the fuel delivery hardline and the rear brake lines and present themselves at the same spot into the engine bay. Since the EVAP purge solenoids are on the intake manifold for the Cyclone and the Coyote, you'd have to unclip the two lines when removing the powertrain and clip them back in during installation. On the Coyote it's on the snout of the intake behind the throttle body under the decorative engine cover, the Cyclone has it more on top but still behind the TB. It may have a different length line than the Cyclone.

So a 2014 Coyote doesn't use an evap system??
I honestly don't see a line on this engine that looks like it belongs there.
I have one smooth fitting on the rear of the intake manifold that has nothing on it. Different type of connector though. It appears to be maybe a half inch in diameter.
I purchased this as a pallet engine and it was running fine.

The Coyote EVAP purge solenoid (and the line that connects to it) is at the front of the intake manifold, on the snout behind the throttle body right next to the fuel rail crossover.

Yep, it appears I need an evap purge hard line from the throttle body to the connection behind the strut tower next to the fuel line connector.
The port at the purge valve has a shipping plug in it from Cleveland Performance. I'm just missing the line.

The nipple on the rear of the intake manifold is a dummy from what I just read.
