Will get pics, but on the DHR the twin cooler matrix' are mounted on the vertical rear seat bulkhead where the OEM fuel tank used to be. If you have a stock tank there isn't room there. The pump is a Tilton style diaphragm knock off (Genesis) that is mounted vertically on the back of the rear subframe near the differential cover. I would invest in a Setrab Gearotor style pump as we have had failure on the pump seals throughout the paddock.
Thanks Steve! That would be much appreciated.

Also if its not too much to ask, are you able to take a picture of how the Motec unit is mounted on the steering column? I plan to mount a unit there and am hoping to leverage how its done on the DHR. Thank you!

FWIW, I found a lot of interesting and useful information here, including pictures and part names of every component within the homologation document: https://performance.ford.com/motorsport/mustang-cup/competitor-info

I'll probably copy their exhaust wrap TSB picture since it seems like easy and cheap insurance against possible half shaft wear, even if my car never gets as hot as theirs.

Yep. I’ve been referencing that document for a lot of things which is why I’m curious as to how they mount said components. I’m slow and a visual learner lol. Also have informative TSBs.

Fun part on the TSBs like the fan shroud is that this are known street smarts mods. Most of which like the exhaust wraps are written at some form in this forum. But ironically most cars don't get to do them even though most like grill delete/fan shrouds cut outs or even the exhaust wraps cost next to nothing.

@Black Boss @steveespo - you guys coming down to COTA this weekend?
Sadly no. Nick and I are in wedding season and have family commitments again this weekend. Enjoy and check in with Sam Paley, Will Lucas and the whole Paley Motorsports crew. Tell them Kaffe' sent you.

Not to butt-in, because I don't know how that one is done, but a printed mount is common.

I will have a close up opportunity to get a picture of the MoTec mounting very shortly. ;-)

Wow, so they even run a double pass radiator from PWR.

Lots of interesting stuff. Thank you for posting it.

Yes, Initially the Stock radiator was used, but pre season testing last year showed it to be totally inadequate with the 960 Setrab cooler in front. All cars got upgrades to grill/fan shroud and the new radiator prior to the first two race weekends last year…..

Nick - any idea if it was water temp or CHTs that were causing problems? Or both?

Hey Nick,

Do you happen to have any pictures of the diff cooling set up underneath the car? I am curious to see how the mounting plate is used and where everything is placed. Thank you!
I'm catching up on this thread and saw the twin cooler matrix in the exhaust wrap TSB. They're on the left side of the picture where the exhaust wrap starts/ends.

Always CHT. We saw 275 CHT in the draft at Charlotte, Paley was a bit higher :-0
