Nick - any idea if it was water temp or CHTs that were causing problems? Or both?
As Steve said. 275 was with the new radiator in draft for multiple laps. Running COTA in 100 ambient wasn’t an issue……

Original radiator saw 280 and I had to back off during testing, no draft and lower ambients on a non power track (Mid Ohio).

Awesome thanks for the data! How about after the new rad/grille/fan shroud?

this are insane high CHT's how did the Coyote survived after that ?

I can see the grill in the photos. I see the tech bulletin on drilling holes in the shroud. The bulletin on the radiator, however, does not specify which one? When I visit PWR, the one it lists for S650 is not a dual pass design, but a single pass.

Which radiator is used, and how much fabrication is involved in installing it? I already read the bulletin on the radiator hoses.

CR-CC-Y1100-002 this is the part number listed in the homologation document: https://www.fordracing.com/content/...lenge/pdfs/2025 DHR BOM Homologation v4.2.pdf

Btw based on the video from the Ford Performance facebook page I guess they are switching to Pirelli slicks for next season ?

What temperature is in the 'wasn't an issue' range?

Mid-O in the summer is horrible for cooling in most anything.

These numbers seem crazy to me.

Thank you for posting what you found, but I cannot find that part number anywhere at PWR (note also there is a different part number for 2025 - CR-CC-Y1196-002. The part number you posted is for 2024). I also cannot find that part number or anything else at the source listed, Technosports.

There is a picture of it on page 18 (both it and the 2024 version). Note the inlet and outlet both on the right hand side. I do not see anything like that in the PWR catalog.

Yep. I was going to mention that earlier. I think you would need the proper hoses to mitigate that issue.

They list the hoses and how to install them.

I am really interested in whether this radiator could help with tracked Mustangs even though we are not driving to the level of Car #58 or the other Dark Horse R race cars - some have been fighting heat on the track.

I talked to C&R (PWR) 5 years ago about this. They would make the GT4 rad for anyone who wanted to pay for it, but it was special order.
