On another note…Went for a nice drive for dinner and an Old Fashioned (or 2) in Holly’s car tonight. I truly had no idea the new Mustangs were such a pleasure to drive. Sport mode is awesome…They are really nice cars. Can’t imagine what Track mode is like.

She treats it like a damn grocery getter. Every time I shifted over 3K she freaked out…

I believe that the main parts of the engine are the original 5.4L GT stuff. Johnny is a cool guy and quite a character. I talked to him a few weeks ago and he sounded like a little kid at Christmas because he was going to be attempting 300 after not running the car for some time.

I can.t believe how stable that GT was at 310 mph with one hand on the wheel. What a testament to the areo of that beast! Just a slight bobble when he pulled the chute.

It's still basically a " stock" Ricardo 6 speed with lots of one-off billet parts to make it live.
