We were back at Barber last week and a good time was had by all.

More Barber !! I love this track !! It’s got to be 1 of the most technical for only being 2.3 miles, those blind corners are a blast once you get to know them.

Getting ready for 2 days at Road America, season closer. It went from summer to fall in a flash. Low 50’s in morn and highs only in the mid 60’s, perfect weather for track days, comfortable for car and driver. It’s definitely the change over, trees are showing a little color and the grass needs a baler, growing like crazy. Plenty of rain, we got 2- 3/4” over the weekend. Life is great for sure !!

What a better way to spend a Tuesday & Wednesday than at Road America with Chin Track Days !! Cool weather with strong east winds off the lake. No sweating during my sessions even though the track suit added some nice warmth. Good times with some great people that I met over the 2 day event. No on track photos yet but I took some with the phone of my “camp” site up in the paddock. Last track event of the season for me as I’m very happy with the track season as it played out.

Of course we have on track photos of my season closer at Road America with Chin Track Days. I’m not a real tech guy as I have seen other members discuss tire wear, camber, lap times and such. I take my car for track setup at Middleton Mototsports near Madison. They do the tech work for me and I pilot the car learning along the way. I have a blast tracking my mustang on the track & finding out it’s a better track car than street car. I don’t have inboard cameras or lap timers, just me and the car looking for the next apex. I’m fortunate to still have the wear for all to enjoy this sport, financially and mentally. I applaud those here that take this hobby/sport to the next level and discuss here so I can learn & that’s why TMO is a great place to be.
