It’s odd that the “national” NASA web site doesn’t list this or the Barber track in their listings ?? Nice to know, thanks Eric !!
I have attended in the past a couple of times but it is usually right around my wife's birthday. It is kind of difficult to convince her we are going to the track for her birthday.

Mid-South has run Barber in July for years. The rest of the southern regions take July off so you see a bunch of Florida and South-East region drivers there. Here is a link to their schedule.

It’s on the Barber calendar also.
So after this info from @EF1 and @PatrickStapler , I learned a more complete way to see what the national NASA club has to offer for track events. I used to just use the main NASA website & went find events & went thru the listings that were there. Now, I click on the particular region, click on their individual website and a lot of them list more there than the national website, hence the Barber event with Mid-South Region which doesn’t show up on the main NASA website. Thanks again Eric and Patrick !! I even went to my home region, Great Lakes, and they match with the national website. They seem to be the only region that has a not safe http website while all others have the secure https protocol. My iPad throws all sorts of warnings with the http so I usually do event transactions on the national website and then it’s “safer”.

The regions are independently operated. Some are better at some things than others.

Donna with NASA Mid-America does a phenomenal job. She welcomes the vintage guys to every single event they have.

Another really solid NASA Region is the Great Lakes Region. Granted they do not do Barber , but Mid Ohio, NCM, PIR, Ozark Gingerman, and Autobahn are on their itinerary most years.
I’ve been a member of NASA for a little over a year. When I first signed up, “they” put me in the Great Lakes region because of where I live. My representative is Jay Andrew and he does a wonderful job keeping me informed about the Great Lakes region news and such. Robin is my group leader in HPDE3 and he does a great job as well as the other 18 or so individuals who make up the Great Lakes region staff. Robin also races as well as being an instructor, coach, technical wiz and information chief. I enjoy my events with this region but now just looking to venture out with other regions to try different tracks and meet new NASA people. Overall, my experience with NASA is very positive as they do things other organizations don’t do just like here at TMO !! I’ll have to reach out to Jay about the website http protocol.

Yes, very close like the next weekend !! So that was not an option for us.
Are you looking at other dates? So far we're committed to the Shelby event on Independence weekend and back to VIR on Labor Day weekend, but would love to zip over to Barber for a weekend. It's a little over 10 hours, so manageable in a weekend using a little bit of vacay time.

Hey HB, we’re doing 2 Barber weekend events this year with Chin. April 12 & 13 and Sept 27 & 28. We stay at the Hampton Inn just outside the track. We spend an overnight midway before and after track event as it is a 15 hour trip and I’m not comfortable doing any more that a 8 to 10 hour drive one way.

Just a clarification on my last post, when I said “this organization or that organization”, I did not infer anything bad towards these organizations. It’s just how we have been doing track days since we started in 2017 and it has worked out ok but lately, there has been some issues with the skill level in the intermediate group no matter who I pay my money to. I’m sure these organizations due their best to “place” customers in the appropriate groups with their own “vetting” process. Some use past registrations with them or number of times they have been at a track with self reporting but sometimes to fill groups, one level of skill gets mixed with another. They try to readjust during the event by moving people in or out of groups but it’s only then upon someone complaining that it happens.
We’ll still use some of these organizations to get track time but very picky on who we send our money to.
One example I was involved with and kinda made me rethink our track time with these organizations, a novice in a very high horsepower car impressed his instructor that he was bumped up to ”intermediate “ group and on his very first session (no instructor), stuffed me on a late apex corner by passing on my inside right. He was literally 2” from my door handle and I went wide left, missed my turn out and ended with 2 wheels in the grass. Another car behind me had this on his GoPro & we approached management, showed the video and had a drivers meeting about passing and there’s no passing in turns in the intermediate group. He did not get singled out or even a visit in the paddock from management. His car group of about 12 members that were there as guests gave him a “best improved driver” trophy at the end of the event. He later came to my trailer while I was loading my car, avoiding me and told my paddock queen “it was no big deal what I did to your husband, no body got hurt so what’s the big deal”.
So we’re rethinking who and how we spend out track dollars with and NASA seems to be the ticket.
I consider myself an aggressive racer, whether it be on bicycles, motorcycles, or in cars. But at the same time, I don’t wanna mess up my car or somebody else’s car so being with an inch or two of another car/driver seems insane to me. Glad nobody and any car, got hurt.

Back after a long hiatus - actually we eventually took the 2025 season off. Reinvigorated for this season, got a couple track days scheduled, Blackhawk Farms Raceway got a repave before winter set in. Got a new 2025 Bell GT6 Pro helmet, a new door card plus a new Sparco track suit to try out !! Very excited to get back on the track for sure 👍🏻

Repave...............sounds like I do have a good reason wandered up there this year and run with a few friends! Repave usually means easy on tires and I do like that!
Check their schedule and if anything is in your wheelhouse let me know so I can plan on being there myself.

Their fees have increased for their Wednesday track days sponsored by themselves.

So going with an organization with HDPE tiered groups is more reasonable.
