The headers were more difficult from a stand point of not wanting to unbolt and lift the engine. Once I did that, it was a lot easier. Could have saved hours...

And the headers DO sound great!

But my latest question is if the Boss 302 front splitter is required before buying and installing an aftermarket larger splitter. I don't want to spend $650 on the Boss 302 front setup if I'm going to remove it when I install a proper splitter.

I threw in the towel. Life with teenage kids and job changes was too much and I sold my car. Thankfully to a guy who was just absolutely thrilled and had one before. I know it will be taken good care of. Going to be a few years before I get one again and I don't know if I'll go for an S197 or a 2018+ S550.

Best of luck! Life goes on for all of us. Nice to meet you at PITS.

Many of us have traded in or sold cars for our families, but the track bug will reinfect you later so no worries attacking asphalt will happen again in the future. I made changes throughout my life and I completely believe family concerns come first. Hang around here, though, as it is a fun place and it will keep you updated on various changes and you will be ready to roll sometime in the future.
