This was the event that got me started in HPDE in 2019. Pitt Race is a very fun fast track. I have signed up to be on track Friday and Saturday. Really looking forward to this one.

It was good seeing you again. Guess we will meet again in 5 years. Btw. How hot was your temp getting on the track. Mine was getting up to 235-240 (water) then I would put on the heat and it would come down to 230. LS302

I only have regular gauges. Didn't get in the "red" .

Boss 302LS -- in your picture is looks like you may still have in the stock grill and a couple of items you might try to keep your car a bit cooler are putting in a Boss302S grill and dropping in a couple of bottles of Water Wetter. Simple items, but this often is enough to keep the temps down a bit and since you never really got to 250 or more you really are fine. Plenty of us hit those temps when we ran our Bosses. Now if you want to spend some bucks while keeping your car stock, get in touch with Jonathan Blevins at chicane23.com as he is the Distributor for Tiger hoods. He does not list them as such , but trust me he is the guy who sends them to everyone else. That hood will drop your temps to amazingly low levels and I just see this as a better alternative for you since there were barely 200 Silver LS Bosses made and you could just store the stock hood.
