Image hosting...?

Did anyone else have their image hosting (Photobucket) suddenly stop working?
There is a new protocol that doesn't allow image linking.

Photobucket: "The free account does not allow any image linking or 3rd party image hosting."

They want 100.00/year to be able to link photos....anybody else experience this?
Anybody got a better idea for image linking sites? PB is way too slow and full of popups.
Plus they did this without warning. At this point, I wouldn't give them a dime. This is BS.

They must be hurting and need to find a way to get money from people. I can't blame them from that from a business point of view, as a businessman. But also as a businessman, the price is ridiculous! I just upload straight from my computer.

But with no warning? I could see if they gave some notice but bam done with no warning?

I'm hardly an abuser of the system.
