I have to do it. I’ve been a car builder my entire life, I just can’t help myself. I’ve already started the log book!
Well in that case, I know I speak for many here when I say we expect to see the Vehicle Profile for it here, with plenty of build thread updates as you work through it :)

Yea, and don’t forget the whopping 300 lbs. of torque (almost) 😂 The GT was so different looking from anything Ford had done up to that point though that you just had to love it!

Drastic change of plans. The Fox was just too far into Drag status to bring back. the entire rear of the car was built around the drag cage and 4 link. It Sold very quickly to… (I love this) an 83 year old who used to be a professional drag racer!
he climbed over the bars and into the cockpit as easily as any 20 year-old I’ve ever seen!
So I took the money and lucked up on a deal for a race prepped SN95. It’s an older build, so I will be changing a lot of the chassis design. I will be posting it on our new SN95 forum here.

Under development but have run some minor Track Attack and HPDE events at Dominion Raceway in Virginia. "86 street car with 331 stroker and 3550 5-speed with a modest build at 395 rwh. Currently running sub-frame connectors, MM panhard bar , front/rear sway bar, competetion power rack and pinion, al driveshaft, 5-lug upgrade on 13" 94 Cobra brakes. I'm running 2 deg. neg camber, 4 1/2 + caster and 0 toe. After I learn to be a better driver [hopefully] more suspension upgrades are in order .

Hi all! Just joined and so happy to find this forum for track focused fox bodies!
1985 LX, built for the track but still registered for the street.
I've done about 4 HPDE events and raced(not this car) in 2 Lemons events with an '87 GT convertible.
My '85 has complete MM Max Grip package. 2000 Cobra R Brembo brakes up front, cobra rear brakes, TKX trans, had a 347 stroker(which I blew at my last event, long story on that one). Running Holley Sniper efi. Currently upgrading to a Ford Performance 363 crate motor. Car weighs in at 3,198 pounds with a full tank and me in the car.
I do have a question for anyone that has experience. In getting this 363 ready, I am 50/50 between a single plane(more power in higher rpm but maybe a dog below 4K rpm) or a dual plane intake(good low end for getting out of corners but giving up some HP in the straights). Right now I'm leaning towards the dual plane and maybe using a 1/2" spacer. Group thoughts?

I'd suggest you pick the option that best suits the tracks you run on.
Do you run on wiggly tight tracks that need a lot of torque getting out of corners or do you run on higher speed tracks that want lots of power for the straights and fast corners?
There's probably no perfect pick and some kind of compromise will be needed unless you only run 1 track type.

Thank you Sir! Will evaluate, mostly hit NJMP, Pocono, Thompson raceway. Plan to get to Limerock one day.
