My 2015 Mustang with our first wing upright design and limited front aero (just splitter), setting FTD at a Time Trial in October.
Below is the second iteration (lowered wing 6" and moved forward 7") with updated front aero components + fender vents, also setting FTD at another Time Trial in November.
Fun day at Roebling Road Raceway with Holy City Motorsports. I'm in the white GT350, friends John in the AG GT350, Fred in the ZO6 and Dave in the GT3.
Another day at Winton Victoria Australia. Photos confirm i need to up the spring rates. 1.5g under brakes and lateral is too much for a performance road setup. I assume the Ford G meter is semi accurate. Thanks to you guys i did a search on spring rates on this site and found a target 650/1200 number. Will do a bit more research and see what i can get. A quick conversion from my 944 track car and its spring rate multiplied up by the weight ratio came out at 675 on the front as a quick comparison. As mine is still in full street trim am happy, "kinda happy" that the GT3RS only slowly got away from me on a handling track. Half a 3km lap in a 12 minute session. Even had a random driver come up and happily tell me it was great that i was hanging with the Porsche. Mustang love is alive and well even down under.
Keeping that close to a GT3RS is stellar! Thanks for posting and how often can you get on track at Winton? I realize it is a bit of a drive from Melbourne but have you run your Mustang at " The Bend " yet?
