I pulled my rotors off they were heat cracked not bad but I felt like changing them. I had new ford racing hardware button/cap screws. I notice that the do not tighten up about 1/2 turn loose. when I pulled old rotors same thing. I was wondering are they suppose to be like this or tight like all other 2 piece rotors. all parts in question are fr500c/boss 302s ford motorsport pieces hats/rotors/hardware. thanks chris

If they are Brembo 2-pc motorsport rotors, they are not intended to fully tighten, put them together using red threadlocker and torque each one to 62 in-lbs (not much!). Suggest tightening in a star pattern.

2-piece rotors that are "tight" aren't full-floating and don't allow for full thermal expansion like the floating sets you have now.
