Yeh I love mine. Car just feels so much flatter under braking and acceleration. It does transmit more gear noise into the cabin but mines basically a track car so I don’t mind.
My first build was an all-in SN95 mustang many years ago. By the time I had sold it all the parts and labor added up to a new z06. Many builds later, I have learned the art of managing diminishing returns. My goal is to always add performance through balance and drivability.
Point is a torque-arm would not align with the goals for this build. Even though it’s probably an ideal solution. Skipped on a watts link and k-member as well. No massive reengineering. Just trying to use the aftermarket to selectively improve the oem weak points.
Actually it’s one of the best things about the S197. As delivered there is plenty of untapped potential ready to be unlocked. It’s more satisfying then to say add power to a Honda F20C or try and make a Renesis engine survive track days.
