The rotation pulls the water OUT of Tampa Bay due to it's rotation, then as it passes the rotation drives the water back in plus 10 foot or so of storm surge..you'll probably never see this again in your life since the hurricane has to be a big one, and close to shore.

Mother Nature can prove to be very "Unmotherly" at times....Father Time will always take his toll one way or another...;).....in between we have the sons & daughters we all cherish..............along with a few Mustangs.....:)

Would be cool if you post pics of what it looks like with the water there in the same spots.

OK I lived through it, just got power up, am checking in...tree limb went through garage roof stopped 4 ft above the Shelby...thank you God.
Longest night I have spent in awhile.
Small tornado came through about 0015, and at 0255 the world came to an end.
Got the generator up and running which supplies our well and have been without power for almost a week.
Just got up and running care of North East Indiana Power and Light.
Spent the week living with my chain saw, cut out 3 large fallen trees, cleared the area around some light poles and helped the neighbors with their issues and supplying water.
No that's not my dock, too rich for me.
Will check in later, about to head to Indy for the runoffs with Phoenix.

Thanks for checking-in and letting us know you (and the Shelby) are okay. Best of luck with the clean up and getting back to normal. Most importantly, stay safe!
