Good morning TMO,

I’m in need of some guidance as I’m about to purchase the Watson 4pt cage. I will be purchasing the Sparco Evo seats, however I’d like some knowledge on purchase the correct 4 or 6 point straps. Any help is appreciated!
I have the 5 belts, 2 shoulder belts, 2 waist belts and the 1 crotch belt that keeps you from going under the dash. One of the things I learned is to take all day to set the belts up properly, once that is done, I don't readjust them, I slide the seat back to loosen them, then unfasten them Same with getting in, I fasten all the belts then move the seat forward to tighten them all up. Occaisionally you still have to adjust the shoulder straps. This is how the endurance guys do it during driver changes, otherwise you're always screwing around witht the belts every time you get in.

Hi Rob! Which brand?

Finally found a shop to educate me on installing the kit. After reviewing some build threads of everyone, I’m starting to understand more about seams, chassis points and welding. Now I have to find a Black Friday deal on some seats. COTA is a month away!

Finally had the chance to get the seat installed, after a 28hr work day. Picking one up from the other is extremely noticeable and for a racing seat it’s nice. I’m still a novice, but one thing I don’t like…ain’t no damn cushion. My skinny butt will be bruised quickly 😅. On a serious note, there is a hardware issue. There were no bolts or washers included to bolt the little hooks into the car for the straps. So gotta go to a hardware store and get some.

Seat fits good for me and definitely recommend other novices such as myself to get the right fitment. Hopefully I’ll have the inside complete before end of the month.
