I'll add one to the oval videos
Here's some Legends in car, good racing inside and outside passing and getting passed. A couple choose cone restarts. There is some vibration blur but it adds to the "being in the car" effect. (see full post)
At this point keep a log. Date, time, name of person to whom you spoke. Substance of what was said. If you can remember all of this now, start now and write down everything you can remember. Keep the log contemporaneously now for each entry. (see full post)
One member here agrees it’s the dealer. I don’t know why the dealer would deny it it’s no skin off their back is it? I could easily repair it permanently myself and keep running it or buy my own shock and replace it vs getting hosed by a dealer... (see full post)
It is very dealer dependent. I've had 2 good dealers that would honestly assess if the failure was from track related abuse or normal 'as designed' running. I don't go to them for wear and tear like wheel bearings, wiring scuffs etc but have...
Appeal. Why on earth would using it on track have caused the wiring harness to be worn through?Get the language of exclusions from the warranty.Read the entire warranty and look at the process you need to follow. You are not helpless in...
"racing" is excluded. Racing can be on the street.Driving it on a track is not listed in the exclusions. You were not racing.A race:
"a competition between people, animals, vehicles, etc., to determine which one is the fastest : a contest...
Consider repairing the harness. There appears to be enough wire remaining to make the repair. Get some heat shrink, waterproof connectors and have at it. Tie it out of the way once repaired. Take the money saved and sign up for another track...
You are correct. It’s earnhardt. Other guys recommend chapman as well. Fk earnhardt they were trying to sell me a dark horse SC and a GTD while i was in there i’ll never do business with them againOver $1100 (see full post)
Earnhardt is the problem. Unfortunately for me they're the only ford dealer that's convenient for me and I don't like going in there even to pick up parts after they managed to screw up an inspection for a warranty. If I needed work done I'd go...
Nope it’s getting escalated as we speakFound out they lied to me already was some service idiot that denied it. I asked my advisor to explain exactly why they denied it and he said “i don’t know”I think they stepped in it we shall see (see full post)
Yeah thanks for reminding me that ford marketed these as track cars. I called service advisors and asked “why exactly did this get denied?” He said i don’t know someone at the dealer in service decide it so number oone they lied to me it was not... (see full post)
But this was at 14 psi, right? With two heat exchangers in your set up and maybe down at 7 psi with a larger pulley, I am betting you could find a middle ground where you still have too much horsepower but do not get such a high IAT even in warm...
