  • At that point, we're talking about the driver wayyyyyy more than the car.The GTD is 5-700# too heavy. This is where the next big chunk of speed will come with that car. There's a whole bunch of really cool stuff on that car that's ballast. (see full post)
  • Except the GTD right:) only 300k huh would be nice

Yep, I was homeless for a fair stretch and slept in my car more times than I know. It's just how it was. In the end, you probably took the right path...at the very least, it was the smarter one.I think people measure lives the wrong way. It's... (see full post)

Fantastic read yeah he seems like a modest guy really. And a mechanical engineer. I love how in the beginning chapters he’s finding out how expensive it is what car to get how to maintain in between working hiring cheesy mechanics figuring out...

I think I was going too fast too quick and yeah, didn't keep my foot in it. Thought it would be like when we used to slide 2wd trucks in the snow as a teen but I was wrong lol (see full post)

I think that's good for a first attempt! They say it's better to spinout than to skid out without enough power into the spin. I think all you gotta do is keep your foot on the hammer and countersteer! We have a drift community in my neck of the...

Gunslinger55 replied to the thread HPDE tires.
Any time you move the face of the wheel out from the hub you will increase leverage. A spacer will do just that. Tell me how it won’t? Is it a factor? depends. The fact you have to lengthen your studs should tell you that right off the bat The... (see full post)

The Captain signed my first edition. I wanted to get Paul to sign it, too, but I think he passed. This is where is all started, though. I like that Mark showed some bumps and bruises on the way. It wasn't just a 'look at me' piece.

  • Short answer, with an equivalent driver, No, I don't see us giving Vettes or Porsches many sleepless nights. There is a weight thread. Add lightness. (see full post)

Turns out I am very bad at donuts/drifting(this is my first attempt). I've owned this car 6 years and have never tried it before last weekend. We were camped out on a skid pad at Inde Motorsports Ranch, I had worn my tires down to the cords so...

The way mine is set it's way too aggressive for street driving. Unlike the newer Mustangs that have factory rev match, these give it the same throttle response no matter what. If I had it set for street driving I think it wouldn't work very well...

  • Big picture, I still think you'll be happier going back to your Ford Racing shocks and BMR springs, rather than trying to dial in the 2-ways.
  • DarrylS76
O ok I read it wrong i see it now Penske shocks . I imagine that s as top notch as it comes . So you think i could hassle 911s and Vettes with my 2014 with a really hooked up suspension? What about making it lighter too ? I see alot of nice... (see full post)
