First off, try Apex, since they support TMO, and they are a reasonable choice at a decent price, if you go full on kill mode the Fordgeline is your choice. Everyone I know uses an 18 inch wheel, even the current Gt4 cars.. I'm trying to remember... (see full post)
Guys,Looking for an 18x10 with 285 or 19x10 with 285/295 setup. What's a good budget wheel and tire combo for the street? I've been looking at wheels this morning and didn't really see what I was looking for. Years ago I had some SVE Drifts...
Primarily it's due to them being so incredibly narrow given the heft of the vehicle. With a few basic mods you can fit an 18x11 wearing a 295-315 under the fenders and that provides you with significantly more grip than the 18x8 and their...
Just a note that the base 18” wheels fit over the 4p brembo calipers using spacers. I use this combo for my 235/18 snow tires on a 2011. Which is also a fun setup for the occasional skid pad/car control parking lot days.
Alot of interesting comments here...some more productive than others. It was my final decision what to do with my car, and it was mostly because of current events in my personal life and trying to be more forward thinking instead of using my...
Coming off rude with lots of assumptions here, but a fair intrepretation from your perspective. If I had said I wanted them on anyways, they would be on the car. Again, I intentionally left out many details.Tim, I do value your input and it's...
I suggest you go through my Build thread there are 8 seasons of track days and knowhow on becoming the fastest American Car on track in Bulgaria (The current American Muscle Fest finished today and still fastest only car coming close is a modded...
I think this is a completely under-appreciated rule. I've got a spare deck lid and plans to fit an adjustable spoiler on the back. Put a 4-5" Al spoiler on a piano hinger. Run it down for the street & up for the Auto X. Be able to add a Lexan... (see full post)
Rear spoiler may be added, but may extend no more than 10.0" from the original body nor past the perimeter of the body. That’s the only rule for me towards it so I have a good bit a freedom to do whatever and aero actually makes a good difference...
I use track mode and leave advance track on. I have tried with it both on and off, and I don’t notice a difference. I find track mode allows for a good bit of slip. Enough that it’s allowed me to go completely sideways.
Yes I do run Steeda. I chose these due to the fact that they only have camber adj. and I do my own alignments (Camber and toe). Since you already have a pp1 then I would also recommend the Steeda bump steer correction kit. A must for a dropped...
If I do that though I don’t think I can’t put hose camber plates on the OEM strut? Either way I think a better solution is higher quality camber plates. Everything I’ve googled looks nothing like the one already installed. Rather get a nice one... (see full post)
OK, first, I'm not trying to bad-mouth anyone. I talked to some guy up in Sonoma a while ago and tried to have a setup conversation for a friend who was getting some work done. The conversation started out with, "I like to set the car up... (see full post)
There is the thing if you want to move to 200TW wide tires the car will have more grip from tires but with soft springs (I consider 250 lbs really soft) the car will lean more and be more harder to control or borderline dangerous. A lot of people...

For those of you that are badmouthing Trent, you should all shut your mouths. He was one of the guys that designed and developed Cortex with Filip. He didn’t move with Cortex because this is his home.
Trent will do what you want to your car. He...
