PP is unfortunately not going to be a competitive car in FS, mostly limited by wheel width. You can technically change dampers (and if you have Magneride - I believe this year they allowed controller change so you can get an aftermarket... (see full post)

The ECS02 is a 360TW tire and is narrower tire at 275 vs the 305 200TW AD09 you will have a tons more grip and you will feel exactly how soft is the Magneride suspension with real track tires. This tires will last longer for sure the Mustang... (see full post)

Yep, looks good. I dont worry Too much about how the rotor face looks. If there is a pulsation or pull, I’ll pull the brakes apart for a look see. Like was stated before, it’s likely a piece of “Trash” rubbed a line on the rotor. If it was... (see full post)

Welcome to TMO and FS is a tough class but you are asking the right questions. Tires will make a huge difference and the current data being seen at SCCA National Tours is that the RE71RZ is the " Gold Standard." Get the alignment maxed in front... (see full post)

I was looking for someone who already owns one because they won’t ship an SCT tuner to California not even the 50 state legal one for some reason (see full post)

If you have a Dark Horse, then you need to make sure that the 18" you buy will clear the brakes. The Dark Horse R cars have a smaller brake set up than the regular Dark Horse cars.Vorshlag tried out several 18" wheels. (see full post)

Here’s the inside of the pad. The line is visible but it seems like a nothing burger, as far as I can tell. (see full post)

Reminder: The 200TW Endurance tires I plan to run are 305 square Yoko AD09. These shouldn't really be much more grip or much faster than my current square 275 Conti ECS02. They should tolerate heat a helluva lot better and last many more track... (see full post)

Anyone in the San Diego area that can perform a crank relearned none of the shops wanna do it around here because I put in the flywheel and clutch kit myself. Most shops don’t believe it’s necessary so I don’t wanna bother going to those shops. I...

Hi everyone, wanted to quickly introduce myself. Long-time lurker but decided to create an account as I'm slowly getting into more HDPE's and hoping to get more time on the track. Located in southern PA, I've only attended a few HPDE's at Summit...

First off, try Apex, since they support TMO, and they are a reasonable choice at a decent price, if you go full on kill mode the Fordgeline is your choice. Everyone I know uses an 18 inch wheel, even the current Gt4 cars.. I'm trying to remember... (see full post)

I think this is a completely under-appreciated rule. I've got a spare deck lid and plans to fit an adjustable spoiler on the back. Put a 4-5" Al spoiler on a piano hinger. Run it down for the street & up for the Auto X. Be able to add a Lexan... (see full post)

I use track mode and leave advance track on. I have tried with it both on and off, and I don’t notice a difference. I find track mode allows for a good bit of slip. Enough that it’s allowed me to go completely sideways.

If I do that though I don’t think I can’t put hose camber plates on the OEM strut? Either way I think a better solution is higher quality camber plates. Everything I’ve googled looks nothing like the one already installed. Rather get a nice one... (see full post)

OK, first, I'm not trying to bad-mouth anyone. I talked to some guy up in Sonoma a while ago and tried to have a setup conversation for a friend who was getting some work done. The conversation started out with, "I like to set the car up... (see full post)
