  • I've heard mixed reactions about them overheating. My tracks are very demanding and their temp rating is only 1380f. I had DBA Race performance pads before with the same temp rating and I glazed those. It's the third time I'm getting new pads... (see full post)

If you are staying with the 934 mount it lower and duct it. I would definitely go right to a 960, I did the 934-948-960 progression and the 960 makes a big difference. The airflow through the lower mouth is better, but get rid of the factory... (see full post)

I thought you were going to say just run out front so there are no cars in front of you blocking the airflow 😁Seriously- appreciate the tip. Will use on my car. (see full post)

Water I get to 180 pretty quickly, half lap out. transmission temps don't rise much above 125 until midway through a session, and differential usually activates the thermal switch (190) about 15 minutes into a race/session. (see full post)

I think you will be fine and I usually ran -.5 to -.7 front to rear difference so go that route. You won't be able to get much camber with the stock set up but say you get to -1.5 in the front, a set up of -1.0 would be a good start in my opinion. (see full post)

Looking for suggestions on track alignment with 100% stock suspension on my S650 GT PP. I am getting all kinda of answers on Google. What I understand is you have to keep rear lower than the front to prevent oversteer? And according to searches I...

what kind of temps are you guys seeing on the formation lap across the gearbox, oil, and water? I always struggle to get the gear box hot...takes a good bit longer than the engine. (see full post)

I ran the Texas Targa this year and it was a great time. Lots of driving sessions to split with a co-driver if you have one. We made it on a fresh set of RE71RZs with no problem. 4 tracks, 3-4 sessions at each one, and about 1200mi of transit... (see full post)

Do you have any brake cooling modifications like the scoops or deflectors some companies offer?I have ran Pagid RST3 up front with the RSL29 in the rear. Then I went to GLOC R12 in the rear and fell in like with that combo. No issues there. (see full post)
  • byronj
Combining different pads / brands is not a bad idea. Its what your looking for in your braking. Ive seen people run RSL29 in front and stock in rear. They like it and it works for them. I was in a bind and ran out out Padgid fronts and had to... (see full post)
  • GAR944
Any reason you wouldn't just go RSL29 all round. They just work all the time every time for me. Actually except in the wet where they may have too much bite for a pure road tyre. On track with 200TW can't fault them. (see full post)
  • honeybadger
Realized I didnt answer your question. From what I've read, the RSL29 pad is a less aggressive pad than the Ferrodos. Personally, I like running the same compound (or characteristics) on front and rear. The more important consideration is if... (see full post)

Oil temp of 130 F is fine to begin pushing. The warm up lap of a race or TT session is fine, keep revs below 5500 until warm. You will find it difficult to get the oil hotter through idling or even normal driving. Now the oil gains the most heat... (see full post)
