Something else that caught my eye. Need you to confirm. Stock strut in first photo has link mounting points both front and rear of the strut. Drop link mounting to the rearward one.
In your photos it appears your struts only have one mounting...
that 100% looks like a bad rear pinion seal to me. I had a similar issue. My guess is some oil is able to pool on the bottom of the diff and gets flung forward toward the spinning pinion under braking....and that's what is throwing it every where (see full post)
