If you ever plan on driving at high speeds (over 100mph), you will want a rear axle overflow catch can. JLT used to make a great one that a lot of us used 10+ years ago that was a simple catch can with a single bolt mounted bracket but I don't... (see full post)
What Steve said. I have used both the Autoblip and the Xingeneering units. The Autoblip is easier to adjust with knobs for adjustments while the Xing is more consistent while requiring g a laptop to make adjustments. .
Years ago I was lucky enough to have an instructor who explained to me how hard it is to actually roll your ankle, or use your heel and your toe, or do anything with your heel off the floor. Don’t do any of those things.Make sure your heel...
I use the ankle roll method but it’s very inconsistent with the results. Usually takes a few laps to get it dialed in. It’s a great feeling when everything clicks, but definitely frustrating when you fumble it. Keep at it if you want to perfect...
Get a Xingeneering module. Plug and play and can adjust timing and blip settings with laptop. Wire in a power switch to be able to shut off for street use. Heel/toe is a great skill. But is archaic in today's environment and definitely affects...
Aaahhhhh. sh*t, I found it.So is that normal then for the thing to hold pressure? She’s been sitting for a few days also, thus it caught me by surprise to hear it vent when I pulled the plug. (see full post)
It's correct. In Boss cars the vent is on the top of the diff cover. It makes seepage a little less likely. The stock GT diff cover doesn't have this feature so on those cars it's on the axle.
Closest thing to a cheat code in motorsports. My supercharger lid is noticeably cooler when I have my 500 on E- on top of the extra 120HP or so. (see full post)
Well, I found this interesting. My new ‘12 Boss does not have an axle vent. At all. The hole is plugged. That’s not normal, right??? The hole is there, but there’s a bolt/plug in it.I noticed this because when I went to pull the fill plug and...

Alot of interesting comments here...some more productive than others. It was my final decision what to do with my car, and it was mostly because of current events in my personal life and trying to be more forward thinking instead of using my...

On the front I've run 185 (stock), 220, 275, 450, 500 #/in springs. I've got a pair of 400's in my spring box. Every increase in front spring rate has given a step in performance. If I were tuning this car for Ford, I'd probably have 300's on the...
