cjatrains - so you are running stock HP rear set up except for the bar? Front is only the CFTP springs plus the spring inserts? Asking because I’m chasing trying to dial in my M1 HP and not liking where I’m at now. Did you do anything with... (see full post)
Not really, you do need to be on the brake and fully release the clutch for the second shift. I can sometimes beat the timing if I don't fully release the clutch. (see full post)
Wow, didn't realize how long its been since I posted. Last time at the track, the wheel studs on the right rear broke. That incident has necessitated a mid-season upgrade. I've taken the opportunity to catch up on upgrades I had bought but not... (see full post)
..the left ball of foot & slight roll onto the throttle (with a wider gas pedal) is great advice, & if you practice on every downshift during street driving it’ll become second nature at the track. Also very important is having the throttle lag... (see full post)
You are in PA., why not take it over to Phoenix Performance, LLC in Phoenixville, PA., as they have a ton of experience with S197s having fielded a boat load of " National Champion " Mustangs in SCCA!!phoenixperformancellc.com (see full post)

Yes I tried that first. The gas pedal was in the way when trying to brake normally, but I suppose maybe I'd get used to the change. Thanks. (see full post)
Thanks. Yes fumbling it is so frustrating, especially on a great lap. Would you mind sharing why you chose MMR over Auto-Blip or Xineering? (see full post)
If you ever plan on driving at high speeds (over 100mph), you will want a rear axle overflow catch can. JLT used to make a great one that a lot of us used 10+ years ago that was a simple catch can with a single bolt mounted bracket but I don't... (see full post)
Aaahhhhh. sh*t, I found it.So is that normal then for the thing to hold pressure? She’s been sitting for a few days also, thus it caught me by surprise to hear it vent when I pulled the plug. (see full post)
Closest thing to a cheat code in motorsports. My supercharger lid is noticeably cooler when I have my 500 on E- on top of the extra 120HP or so. (see full post)
