I can't claim ownership of the photo, just something from my reference stash of images that I thought would be helpful here. I believe the person who installed this one just sprayed it with some black paint. (see full post)

It's pretty straight forward, the metal straps sandwich under the existing upper arm bracket bolts so the tank element sits above the diff pumpkin. (see full post)

Congrats on your win! On that first photo, it looks like the passenger side of your front splitter is about to scrape the parking lot!Where was the parking lot? As soon as I saw the photo, I thought, "That's Georgia." Then I saw you are... (see full post)

I talked this over with a former Ford engineer who still runs in A sedan, unless the motor is really modded, he doesn't recommend getting rid of the cam phasers for the reasons stated above. They are pretty bullet proof (the Ford ones, not the... (see full post)

I'm so sorry that I've not responded sooner, I'm helping a small race team get organized and it's pretty mentally draining starting from square 1. 1. I haven't scanned for codes since I did that mod, but it shut the airbag light down cold. I'm... (see full post)

I agree, it seems that the 8.8 is under vented, It probably wouldn't hurt to run 2 vents, in my car I picked up one of the little plastic vent valves off of another diff in a scrapyard, and use the vented cover as well. FWIW, the guys running the... (see full post)

Father's day event was another Win for us in class and overall PAX. Attendance was down a bit (93 drivers vs the usual 130) so our local reigning national champion Christian (see post above) was at home for the weekend.Course was a tight course... (see full post)

Why did you suspect it was not functioning? (see full post)
  • I understand. After spending sometime discussing variable rate springs with @TeeLew I was convinced I didn't want to introduce what seemed to me like another variable with "dual rate" springs. I was relieved when I removed both my front and... (see full post)

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. I went down the Steeda dual rate springs and matching bars along with their DSC controller path. I ran the DSC one weekend and swapped back to the OE controller as I was suspicious it wasn’t functioning. I’m... (see full post)

  • I just finished cutting my rear Stock Mach 1 HP rear coil springs 9 mm to take some of the "rake" out of the chassis. I can't provide any feedback on whether it's better/worse or no change as my next track day is at Watkins Glen 7/13 and 7/14... (see full post)

cjatrains - so you are running stock HP rear set up except for the bar? Front is only the CFTP springs plus the spring inserts? Asking because I’m chasing trying to dial in my M1 HP and not liking where I’m at now. Did you do anything with... (see full post)

Not really, you do need to be on the brake and fully release the clutch for the second shift. I can sometimes beat the timing if I don't fully release the clutch. (see full post)

..the left ball of foot & slight roll onto the throttle (with a wider gas pedal) is great advice, & if you practice on every downshift during street driving it’ll become second nature at the track. Also very important is having the throttle lag... (see full post)
