Thanks for the heads up on the Water Pump from a GT500. I did remove the bumper cover and sealed up all the gaps on both sides and the bottom of the radiator. At the same time I installed the Dewitts 70 mm thick aluminum radiator, and the... (see full post)
My question to the question. Why not start where you believe you will finish? By using the pad that your car and driver will work in to. If the 16s are the logical end point, why not begin there? I went from stock Boss pass to pagid race... (see full post)
The GT500 water pump seems to have been a big help for our M1. That and closing up any air leak paths around the radiator if you’re struggling with temp issues. (see full post)
I ran most combinations of 16,12,10 front and 8,10,12 rear WR with the 14” 4 puston Brembos. I worked my way up from 10/8 to 16/12 as my driving improved. I found early on that I was out growing the pads as they wore out and just worked my way... (see full post)
I am new to the Track Mustang forum and would love to get opinions on what upgrades I can make for the best possible street setup, but later down the line can be used as a dual purpose for HPDE events. The Bullitt has the following...
Was in range of 108-115 🫣
But i had at 2 weeks ago a benchmark run… power seems still be okay ;)Yes, the Tremec requires Mercon ATF. It’s basically as thin as water, so I change the fluid very frequently. I’ve never tried a different oil. (see full post)
I think the trans confusing stems from you stating you run mercon as your trans fluid. That’s auto trans fluid which i think is strange in a manual. That’s why i was confused. Or do tremecs require auto trans fluid i haven’t changed mine out yet. (see full post)
What CHTs correspond to that numbers 140C is a lot for oil ? Overall if your Coyote is going over 118C CHT you might run into problems. (see full post)
Why bother with real gauges just keep CHT on dash and don't let it go past 245F. Problem solved and no gauges needed. In practice the ECU pulls timing at anything over 219F so keeping it below that will be ideal. Providing you are with OEM ECU... (see full post)
Thanks , I should have said R16 , though like Madhatter I only run R18s up front. It was started as an Endurance pad and Danny told me well over a decade back I had the first set sent to the general public to try ( ran them at Great Plains... (see full post)
Yep, it appears I need an evap purge hard line from the throttle body to the connection behind the strut tower next to the fuel line connector.
The port at the purge valve has a shipping plug in it from Cleveland Performance. I'm just missing the... (see full post)
The Coyote EVAP purge solenoid (and the line that connects to it) is at the front of the intake manifold, on the snout behind the throttle body right next to the fuel rail crossover. (see full post)
So a 2014 Coyote doesn't use an evap system??
I honestly don't see a line on this engine that looks like it belongs there.
I have one smooth fitting on the rear of the intake manifold that has nothing on it. Different type of connector though. It... (see full post)
