Like I mentioned above, I know someone who ran one in a stock car. Plugs in and works as intended. Modes just feel different. They still run it in "track mode" (see full post)
This is my biggest complaint about the Torsen. There's no preload, so braking is always compromised and any time the inside rear is unloaded, you have an open. Even the Traction-Lok is better in this regard. The OS Giken would be the one you... (see full post)
Been working on getting my baseline and have tried so many combinations but feel I'm getting closer to something great. But one of the tests I did this year was with and without rear bar on the same day. I'm boosted so getting power down is... (see full post)
The Competition Motorsports bar is the Lincoln Continental of rollbars and the color match is solid for all makes. I have a good friend with a GT4 RS and his CMS bar is so well done folks think it is a factory unit.Further props for the owners... (see full post)
Today's Cryptoquote.........." There are so many different ways in which to navigate this so-called life. Be open to experiencing more than one."___Sterling K. Brown.. (see full post)
I have used my CMS bar in 2 cars now. It is a difficult install, drilling into the structural beam in the rear seat area is not for the faint of heart. But the color match and solidity is great. It also was a net weight savings after removing... (see full post)
So..general rule of thumb, if you're autocrossing where the chance of a rollover is basically nill, the harness bar is a good option as Bill stated. Once you start tracking the car, then that harness needs to be attached to a roll bar. Also keep... (see full post)
i disabled the beltminder per instructions in the manual and removed all the belts and latches front and rear. no dinging or popups on my dash (see full post)
So I’m sorry to be slow, but is FLLTD the percentage of lateral weight transfer in a steady state corner that is being carried by the front tires versus the rear?Awesome tool and calculator, very cool. (see full post)
I've run without it, but I prefer having a small bar hooked up. Running disconnected is great for rear grip, but you lose a lot of transitional response. If you give me all the numbers, I'll make the calculator. (see full post)
Anyone recognize this wheel, or better yet, know where to get it. This is actually my car/my wheel. Bought this from I swear CJPP like 5 years ago. I cannot find it now. Want another one. Any ideas? I’ve searched everywhere.
Well I’ve gone as far as I can until I get the harness and ECU.Only functional thing I need to do is replace the pedal with the 2014 pedal, I’ll do that when I get the harness. After that it should be ready to fire up.
I with have to tap my... (see full post)
Nobody has installed one still? I only know of one car running this rack in it but never got any conclusive info how it functions in a stock car. (see full post)
I mean, I just turn the reminder off following the procedure. Once disabled it doesn't come back on. You don't have to mess around with a seatbelt plug, and I don't consider a reminder chime to be some sort of life saving safety device. Just... (see full post)
The insert worked with my stock seat with harnesses. When I unplugged and removed the stock seat for the race seat, the inner lap belt receptacle and it's wiring went with it. No dings from the car, just an airbag/restraint light (see full post)
