Got it; thank you!l I’ll see if I can go last since it is my first time there and I just upgraded to a Boss so I don’t want to do anything stupid. I’m thinking about getting some classes from an instructor at road Atlanta; that way I’m more... (see full post)
That will work fine. Since the pedal travel is a longer you want to use a aggressive brake pad to make up for it. Am pretty sure the Boss brake booster is the same as the GT500 unit. (see full post)
I'm currently running the s550 performance pack 6 pot Brembos on my 2005. Right now the engine is currently out for a Coyote swap.Wondering what the best strategy would be to upgrade the brake booster and/or master cylinder while everything is...
Uummmm, it's not that cosmic; don't overthink it. It's most certainly not a track day. I wouldn't full on call it anti-climactic, but it's nothing to stress over. It's pretty darn cool to get out there and drive on the track and experience what... (see full post)
OP Mustang nuts are the best bar none. Been using them since 2018 and haven't a single issue with themhttps://www.opmustang.com/store/p315/14mmHighStrengthRacingLugNuts.html#/ (see full post)
These guys literally do not know what they're taking about. They will produce these really impressive videos describing car handling all sorts of wrong. They know a selection of words, but those words have different meanings than they suspect. (see full post)
Absolutely zero reason to replace OPG if you're engine is completely stock (or even are running the tune) - unless you're already getting in there for some other reason. There are stock cars ran much harder than most people will ever run them and... (see full post)
If you run your track days with all the track nannies off, the rear pads will last at the very least twice as long as two front pads. I would swap the fronts in, but for me the Gloc 10 are not so great for our heavy cars. I tried the 12's and... (see full post)
Just a thought on this last cool, rainy Sunday of summer...........A rose is much like a double edged sword..........It will entice you with its sweet bouquet while stabbing you with its prickly thorn..............R.I.P. V.K. ....... (see full post)
2016 GT performance pack With 14K miles.I drive like a grandma on the street but started tracking my car this year. As expected, the track days are quickly wearing down my front brake pads. They are down to just a few millimeters. However, my...
Hi I was wondering if you guys could give some information about the Pettit lemans corral lap on Friday this year. This will be my second year going to the race and this time I’ll like to participate of the corral lap. My question is; how fast do...
Well yes but we’re talking about mitigating the skip with setup not counter steer. If you’re counter steering through the corner you’re probably losing time. I think it’s interesting that in that video the car has an upsized rear sway bar. (see full post)
No modifications were required. The seat touches the center console, which makes it tougher to slide the seat forward if you are using slider mounts, but it still functions. (see full post)
I think I’m going with the sparco evo L ‘x’ & I now have the Pci sliders mount - I know you mention fitment is tight but did you have to modify anything to install in the s650? (see full post)
Finally... dyno tuned a week ago. 100F day with high humidity - 467hp @ 7430rpm, 373lb-ft @ 5450rpmWorking on the alignment today with Cortex SLA front end:-3.25 camber
+8 caster
0 toeI assume the SLA doesn't need as much static camber, but... (see full post)
