Can you really fit four tires inside a Mustang? (for track days)

Spending my pension on car parts and track fees.
All depends on what else is in the car. Roll bar, not likely. Passenger seat removed for weight savings, definitely. Are your tires able to fit in the spare tire well, height is key.
I have seen some amazing track day tetras. Four tires, tools, jack, lawn chair etc. all explode out of a car at the track.

Three in the back? With the seat in?

My order includes the factory rear seat delete ..... I didn't realize it was that large back there.
Yep, plenty of room back there. I do have to move the driver seat forward a bit to fit but that's no big deal. You could put two in the back seat and one in the front passenger seat to avoid moving the driver seat forward but then you can't see out of the passenger side mirror.

Can easily fit 4 tires, floor jack, cooler, tools and more. I've done it several times. I remove the pass seat, rear seats, stock spare tire, stock jack and lug wrench. Loading it up at home is easy. What I don't like is putting the tires back in afterwards with all the rocks and brake dust.

can you share a picture I have a tough time imaging how you put 3 305/30/19 in the back but with new rims coming up I would love to learn this party trick please ?

I've used a paint brush before to brush off the big dirt.

Other have used large trash bags or tire bags to keep their car clean. Put the track soiled tires in the bags. Clean them when you get home.
I always take my four track tires in my 2006 mustang. No cage but a harness bar. The tires/wheels are 315/30/18 Hoosiers (wider). 2 in the trunk but have to remove trunk latch loop, one in the back with rear seat delete and one where passenger seat goes. I still get four in with the passenger seat and harness bar. I avoid the used track tire mess with Tire Rack tire nylon covers ($20 each ) so tires slide in easier on the nylon tire covers and also keeps the rocks and debris out of the car. maybe pics later...

NO REGRETS
first off, I am old... back in 1993 when they debuted the 1994 SN95.. I had already been racing my foxbody GT for a while.. I politely asked the bubbly Ford engineer where do the track tires and floor jack go? He just looked at me funny.. it never came into their lil minds people did such things... I pointed to my hatchback... some things never change..

With 295/30-18 you can fit five in a S197 easily. With 315/30-18 you can do it as well buts its much harder.

With the 315/30-18 its only one in the trunk, two in the back seats and two were the passenger seat was. I got six in once.... But not comfy or safe.
With the 295/30-18. its three in the trunk with the rear set down or out ( one in the wheel wheel, the other two on top with half of one poking half way to the back seats). and the other two in the back behind the driver. If you have 18x11.... see the 315s above.

Yes you can, and get a passenger in car too!

As was stated earlier, one goes in spare tire well. Three go in back seat and make sure middle one has the "open" end facing the drives side the the third wheel fits "inside" it. There is a big toolbox, floor jack, two folding chairs, small cooler, and two weekend bags in the trunk, and my 19yr old son and two helmets up front
